How do the reward and rebate tiers work?
You’ll earn a $100 cash reward for every friend you refer who places five qualifying trades2 with us, and they’ll get a 10% rebate on their trading fees/commissions. The more successful referrals you introduce to us,4 the more rewards you’ll receive.
Here’s a breakdown of the reward and rebate tiers for you and your friend(s):

These amounts are based on one referral, and spreads/commissions should be paid within the first three months of your friend opening a live account.

FAQs
When will I receive the referral rewards?
You’ll receive your first US$100 reward within 45 working days after your friend made five qualifying trades within three months from opening a live account.
The remaining additional rewards will be paid within 45 days from the last day of the qualifying period (i.e within three months from opening an account). The amount of reward you will receive is based on your friend's spreads/commissions paid in the three months from the successful referral.
A qualifying trade is a CFD with a minimum size of one mini contract (or equivalent) on which commission has been paid.
I have already referred friends who qualified in the old scheme, can I participate in the new scheme?
Yes, you can continue to refer new friends under the new RAF scheme, but you may refer up to a maximum of five people overall, which includes any referrals under the previous promotion (e.g. if you referred three friends under the previous promotion, you may only refer two friends under this promotion).
How do I check my referral status?
Once your friend has signed up for an account, your friend and you will each receive an email notifying that you are both in a referral scheme. After which, you can log in to My IG, click on the ‘settings’ tab at the top of the page and select ‘refer a friend’ to view your referral status. You will also receive an email once your friend open an account succesfully.
Will the referral expire?
Yes. The promotion period to earn rewards for each friend will be 3 months from the date the live account is opened.
What happens to my friends that I referred in the old scheme who have not been qualified?
They will be automatically rolled into the new scheme and their trades will be re-calculated for the next 3 months.
How can I know I am paid with the correct reward tier?
We will ensure all checks are done so that rewards are fairly and accurately given to qualfied clients. Your friends are welcomed to contact our customer service for details of their spreads/commissions paid.
